Every beautiful woman has within her an amazing set of gifts and talents that are uniquely hers. Sometimes all this beautiful woman needs to recognize her innate abilities is to have another intuitive soul point them out to her. Nearly a year ago, I met an amazing woman who empowered me to recognize my own gifts and talents. Her name is Divya Parekh, and I remember the day she and I first “connected” on the phone. Although Divya and I were fellow colleagues on the Life Coach Radio Networks, we had never actually spoken prior to that day. Divya was the first experienced coach to reach out to me. In all honesty, I wasn’t sure why, in hindsight, I know now that it was because she truly wanted to help me, a new Life Coach, reach my highest potential.
It wasn’t long after our first conversation that Divya and I had formed a strong bond, the kind of bond that naturally occurs when two like-minded heart-centered souls converge. During one of our weekly chats, I asked her, “So, you really think I have what it takes to be a successful Life Coach?” Without hesitation, she replied, “Not only do I think it, Lisa Marie, but I know it in my heart. I see you for the beautiful person you are and I know how big of an impact you can have on the world around you. Wonderful things are about to happen for you this year.” I teared up slightly as Divya’s words gently fell upon my soul and tugged at my heartstrings. I knew she was right, but I had been afraid to admit it… at least up until that moment. That day was a turning point in my life as a professional Life Coach.
As our coaching relationship progressed over the next several months, I found myself feeling more and more confident and less fearful of failing and, in some cases, succeeding. Divya was there every step of the way, never once giving up on me. It’s hard to believe that I’ve known Divya for as long as I have. It seems like only yesterday that our paths were Divinely connected. Throughout the time I have known Divya, she has continued to gently and lovingly push me to think beyond the self-limiting beliefs that I’ve unconsciously held onto. For that, I am eternally grateful.
